Jebao Jecod DMP-10 review

Ordered this knock off wave maker, since the ecotech's version is almost 400 bucks. I had the MP-10 years ago in my 60 cube but sold it off along with the rest of the setup, I will admit that this did ship and arrive super fast especially during Christmas.

Took about a week to arrive, and had a chance to set it up today. Quick review, it was loud and the output of the pump was awful. Did not feel as powerful or wide of a spread as the MP-10 I had years ago, I had it set to almost 100% and was not even blowing sand around in my Nuvo Fusion 20.

Pretty disappointed, I went ahead and requested a return through AliExpress. So we'll see how this goes, did purchase it through PayPal. So if they give me any issues, I'll escalate it there.

To those considering it, you might just wanna try something different. Maybe I got a dud, but wasn't worth the hassle of setting it all up, just to be disappointed.

Not sure about yours. I have had MP10 in the past and I have a DMP10 and the flow and power is pretty much on par as the mp10. It’s a little less cause the 10 is only rated for like 1600gph and the mp10 is 2000 I believe. Mine pushes a lot of water and is dead silent. I am guessing you got a defective one. I have a fusion 20 and I only was able to max it at 70% before it started to move all the sand away on the other side.

I'm guessing it was defective for sure, I made it a point to buy from a seller that had a lot of stock sold and decent reviews.

The return was a headache, the store owner refused the return. So I had escalated it to AliExpress which stepped in and gave me a return label. Just dropped it off today, going to temporally use a Hygger Mini for the time being until I can find a good deal on a used MP10

I am happy was well with mine across 36 inches long aquarium,. I need another to replace my Nero3 which is underperforming.
