Hello stupidly I was cleaning my pump in my sink and I dropped a part down the sink! I though my catch drain would you know catch it but it didn’t  so I’m now looking for a replacement part or some way to find a replacement.

Pump is a jebao sow 4. The part that is missing is the little silicone part that goes on the end of the impeller. Below is a pic of what I need. Thankfully I have two sow4 so tank will be fine with just one for now.

here is the piece on a black background so you can see it

here it is on the impeller (top piece)

Not sure if they sell parts. You could reach out and see. Conversely you may he able to find a part that like elsewhere.

What's it do? Perhaps rigid airline tubing would accomplish the same function

Did you try to open the cleanout on the trap under your sink to see if it in there?

Yeah first place I looked cause I thought it would be there. I’ve always heard it called a catch drain but I’m not a plumber lol.

Good news for the short term is that a small piece of airline has got the pump working for now!!! I will still search for a new piece but at least I still have two pumps working.
