I also want to add a bunch of cool macro, once I decide what types.
Mine will be going in here. TBS is also sending me a few gorilla crabs for snacks. I already have a big pack of frozen krill and some silversides for it. Arrival date is set for March 5th. I'm super stoked!

I keep a couple different hermits in the tank in case Murderbug wants a midnight snack. There's also an emerald crab, a pair of astrea snails, and a middle neck clam, a small cerith snail or 2? All the inverts are in there as entertainment or snackies.

Does he regularly eat the snails?

I traded the XR15 G6 Pro on this thank for an AI Prime, and I'm so much happier.
Macro (dragons breath & codium) is doing much better with the light swap.
Considering a mangrove, so it's time to do some reading and research.

Howdy, Stranger! The lighting looks awesome. You'll need a much deeper sandbed for mangroves.

Thanks! That's a pretty easy fix.

Edit: could I use one of the AOI chambers? *don't judge my stupid questions*

I've seen it done before, but never used that method myself.

Yeah Right Judging You GIF

Are they getting a lot of their nutrients from the sand bed or is it mostly for remaining rooted? I'm sure you could change out their substrate every now and then (Fiji Mud? Miracle Mud? Aquaforest Lifesource?)

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
