Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away there was a guy, we’ll call him Rysam.. anyways he was a pretty cool guy ( he still is although his wife usually disagrees) and he had a 135 full of things and stuff for about 4 years or so. It was cool too.
Then the power went out for two weeks in 2008 and being a poor young feller without a long term backup plan, it was all bad and resulted in a complete step away from the saltwater side of the hobby.

Fast forward some 17ish years and the wifey finally gave in and is letting me think about getting busy again.
I scored a 225 with overflows and a stand for $200 off a job site a few years back so that’s what we’re working with.. Yeah, the deals are out there if you’re lucky.
It’s been setup FW with a DIY wet/dry in the 40 breeder sump. Display has a few random fish with with mostly plants in it.

No set plans yet, I’m still in the remembering phase although I’m leaning towards some sort of fancy stick tank with at least a few bells and whistles. I’ve always had a soft spot for monti caps and I definitely want a clam or two, but my mind changes like my underwear. sometimes daily, sometimes weekly.

It’s good to see a LOT of the names from the old Reef Central days so I know 💯 this is the right spot.
I’ll start a build thread when the time is right. It would be kinda boring looking at an empty wall being posted for the next year.
