I'm apparently missing A LOT. :p Why did you only treat with CP for 48 hours?
I added the carbon thinking it was causing the issue with the fish. Knee jerk reaction. Carbon was in the tank for 35 minutes. Had every intention of doing CP for 14 days.

Furan-2 is in.

Hard to see the blenny that’s in here too but I can’t see any spots or obvious issues with it.

She didn’t make it.... :(

There appears to be something white sticking out of her anus.

Blenny still looks fine.

Are we certain CP is safe for grammas? This fish was 100% fine, with the exception of flashing occasionally, prior to the addition of CP. within 24 hours the fish showed spots. 24 hours more and it looked very sick. 24 hours later it was dead.

This fish was eating, swimming and interacting normally prior to CP.

Thanks. I just don't get it then.

Why did the fish get sick after adding CP and was otherwise fine?

The white sticking out of her anus could indicate she also had intestinal worms or internal parasites. You would need to food soak medications (e.g. API General Cure + Seachem Focus) to treat for that. Dosing the water doesn’t always help resolve internal problems.

It's just really odd. I did GC, not in food, and she was eating and presumably pooping fine.

I'm super bummed out...

Should I restart the CP? Just finished the ABX and ran carbon. CP was in the water for 6, almost 7 days.
