The six line I had was a model citizen in my 90 gallon tank. Didn’t bother any other fish. He must have been preoccupied by neon dottyback that was the meanest fish I have ever owned ! A lot of character with six line .

@WallyB but they are so hard to come by. I've been trying since forever lol
If you are talking about the helfrichi. I only came across the fish that one time. Got both of them. Was amazing to have a pair in QT. Sad thing is one got killed when the powerhead guard fell off accidentally and I wasn't around. Was devastating to me for a while.

All the best with your sixline. It is a beautiful fish, yours maybe be friendly, since every fish is different.

Keep us posted on how the six line turn out, he/she certainly will enjoy having the tank all to itself.

Ahh, I just noticed you are in Canada, Ontario.
No I didn't get the Helfrichi from R2o, Mississauga. Been there and a few other Fish Store in that area.
I got them from Big Als Vaughan. It was a rare purchase they did.

If you ever and I bet you will, get an ich for more fish, consider a BLUE Neon Goby. (or a bunch since they are tiny).
It's a really cool small fish. A cleaner Fish, which will keep your 6 line parasite free.....
... and even take rides on it like this photo of my Neon Cleaning/Riding on my Yellow Tang
NeonGobyRidingYellowTang.jpg

All my fish come to him for cleaning like fish go to Cleaner Shrimps.

He Freaks me out every time I put my Hand into tank since he jumps on it (at pecks to eat my dead skin)

Neons sometime come in from https://www.proaquatix.com/gobies/ . Not just the Blue Neon. Others too.
I like buying fish from Breeders since they are grown from babies, and don't leave till they Eat.
I got mine from Canada Corals in Vaughan.
Also captive bred fish are better for the Oceans.

Same for ORA Farms, where you can get a Mandarin Goby (like my Avatar) that arrives eating regular foods.
https://www.orafarm.com/product/blue-mandarin/ (other choices too like clownfish, etc).
Mandarin generally only eat live food, but not these. Live food is a bonus.

Whatever you do for your future Fish purchase is always buy fish that eat in the store before taking them home.
Never let someone convince you it will eat later, since a fish that doesn't eat, is a dead fish eventually.

All the best. Can't wait till your 6 line to come out, and also when you get your NEXT FISH, or Shrimp...etc to keep him company. Hopefully not a fish to Beat up.

Same here. But 6 Blocks from Canada Corals on South/West Side.
I know Katie, and Rob the owner very well. Small World eh?

I also know March the owner at http://fragbox.ca/
And Afnan the owner at https://candycorals.ca/
Forget his name but also know the owner of https://www.aquariumdepot.ca/

You might know @tenurepro ? He's also a Reefer in our area, lives 2 block away from Canada Corals.
Must be really close to you, or on your Street (wouldn't that be funny).
He is on this forum, but not much since he spend a lot of time running a great YouTube Channel about his home tank setup. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=amro+azul (Great TIPs, for Beginners and Pros)

I know you have no fish plans, but I bet you'll be getting at least one Coral :)
I know a really nice guy "Thang", who sells every imaginable coral at fantastic prices. Way less than stores!!
Near Yorkdale. Private Seller. Safe/Clean place to visit if you already haven't been there.

And keep this handy. I do my own Fish QT (but I hate it)...so sometimes I skip QT myself...There is a guy not too far away (Etobicoke), who will get you a fish (you pick it from a list), and he will do the Quarentine/Meds (for a nominal price), so you get a perfectly healthy fish (21 days later), ready to plop into your tank.
