I dose Captiv8 via ICP and in addition to that, using the Fluoride recipe here I dose 100mil a day of fluoride also. The blues in my tank are outstanding. But, I have no clue if I stopped dosing if those blues would change. I started dosing fluoride in addition to a daily managed plan of trace dosing when I started contributing to Andre’s kids college fund. At that point, I started making my own and then spreading it out over the entire month. Then when I switch over to Captiv8, I just kept dosing the the daily amount which is on an DOS.

I’ve started forcing evaporation again. Without forced evaporation, I use about 7g of RODI a day. My system has a chiller and is around 500g. So my fans are an emergency back up if something happens to the chiller. But, when I flip my fans on 24/7, I’m driving my evaporatoration to nearly 15g a day. I’m currently doing this to try and get as much kalk I can into my system (I’m already pushing far too much 2 part and I’m waiting on a new larger CARX).

I just recently watched a podcast where they talked about fluoride binding to kalk. So, if I am starting to double my kalk supplement and if Kalk binds fluoride, should I increase my daily dosing amount? I’m about 2 weeks out from my next ICP sample. Is the amount that it binds linear to the amount of kalk I push in?

I have no reason to believe F- helps any particular color, but you may be able to add some fluoride to kalk. Depends on how much. The limitation is precipitation of calcium fluoride, which you would see as a white precipitate or cloudiness.
