Last shot of my 22g before I upgraded. You can see the three 160's reflecting here.
Funky pic of my 90g.

Makes sense...I am probably over complicating things.I think you can simplify it more. Think of it this way, start time, end of ramp up, start of peak, midday, end of peak, ramp down to off.
Here's what I do, but you can modify as needed or completely disregard.
Time - C - I - V (no red or green)
7:55 - 0 - 0 - 0
8:00 - 0 - 10 - 0
10:40 - 30 - 80 - 100
14:00 - 30 - 80 - 100 (midday)
17:20 - 30 - 80 - 100
20:00 - 0 - 10 - 0
20:05 - 0 - 0 - 0
I'm changing my 360x by 20 minutes each time, 10 minutes on each side of the ramp. It sits in the middle of two AP700's, so I'm adjusting it in smaller amounts and not at the same time as the 700's. My 700's are running at 90% and their peak is a little longer than the 360x (which I added last year).
I've ran my Kessil's this way for the past 5 years with great results. I had three 160's on my 22g nano and I run two 700's and a 360x (w/orphek bars) on my 90g shallow.
Time | Color | Intensity | Violet |
7:30:00 AM | 0 | 0 | 0 |
8:00:00 AM | 0 | 10 | 0 |
10:30:00 AM | 30 | 80 | 100 |
2:00:00 PM | 30 | 80 | 100 |
5:30:00 PM | 30 | 80 | 100 |
8:00:00 PM | 0 | 10 | 0 |
8:30:00 PM | 0 | 0 | 0 |
So don’t bring up the violet all at once? They will increase the overall intensity (those channels are added, without reducing the other channels). I think the only channel that has a real known effect on the corals would be the Violet...
You can try 20% a week and see how your corals respond? So don’t bring up the violet all at once?

Btw i copied your exact schedule ( except the intensity which is at 60%) and i love it! Its simple and from what you have shown gets the job done. No more touching the lights now lol thanks a bunch.I think you can simplify it more. Think of it this way, start time, end of ramp up, start of peak, midday, end of peak, ramp down to off.

Well, good timing! BRS just came out with a video where they dialed in their ideal spectrum mix on the A360x
They recommend Color:30, V:100, G/R:0...so I guess I'll be switching to this schedule:
Time Color Intensity Violet Red Green 7:00:00 AM 0 1 0 0 0 8:30:00 AM 6 5 2 0 0 9:30:00 AM 15 15 12 0 0 11:00:00 AM 30 60 100 0 0 2:00:00 PM 30 62 100 0 0 5:00:00 PM 30 60 100 0 0 6:30:00 PM 10 15 12 0 0 8:00:00 PM 1 1 1 0 0 8:30:00 PM 0 0 0 0 0
I couldn't find a direct answer for someone running their light without ramping up and down. Its hard to tell from looking at other's times due to ramp up/down times. I'll try reducing the time over the course of the next week down to 8 hrs. ThanksYou mean on at 9:30a and off at 10:30p? That would be a 13hr photo period, which is probably way too long. Most recommendations are to have the lights on for 6 to 8hrs...
At what depths???Just ran a par test:
Color: 10
Int: 90
Violet: 80
Red: 15
Green: 25
2 x 360x
2 x T5 Blue plus ho
Even if as low as 20%?That is a super long photo period...
