AP700 is probably your best bet. I generally prefer the A360s because you have flexibility in regard to mounting location and two worked very well over my 75g while it was a mixed reef but the AP700 would have had better coverage.

A360 is a better setup and two will give better coverage and par than the ap700. The ap700 has a better looking tank mount imo.

If 2 keep the intensity below 50%. If rock work is 8-10in. from each side 1 700 would be sufficient.

The mount is the same, you just use two for the AP700.

I would go with the AP700, unfortunately your Apex is unable to control it, but it does have its own WiFi app that you can use to program it, and it's more powerful than the A360s.

3 360s. Better coverage less shadows more flexible in mounting and positioning

Dana, is your chart supposed to show the par readings for the ap700? If so at what height is the light from the water. BRS tested the light a couple of weeks ago and their reading were much higher depending on the height of the light. From my experience, I have 3, this light is very powerful. Of course my knowledge of lights is limited, but I killed 7 sps acros.and damaged another 5-6 at a light intensity of 75%. I wouldn’t think a par reading of your maximum of 200, would do this. What am I missing?

Love to look of the light and super fun to play with. Im hoping my tank is finished cycling im ready to make it great agian. Right now it's about empty. Iv been slowly recovering from the total crash from moving.

This isn't a true statement.

I upgraded from 3x360s to 2xAP700 and the key word is Upgraded. There is a reason the 360s are the little brother. Both are great choices but my tank changed for the better with the 700. Par is not even close to comparable so yes that statement is not correct the 700 you have better coverage and control.
