What if I install the Kessil on the left with my SPS and Have both AquaRays on the right where I have LPS,zoo's,mushrooms and a clam only. A pick of the right side. P1010102.JPG

The left side is this: P1010159.JPG at 12" below water line and 20-22" below existing lighting.(Aquarays 1500 NP) and Suplemented with a tunze 8850 light

I bought the ap700 for my 4 foot tank and plan to supplement it with the Razor T5 retro kit - Giesemann T5 2x54w

I would mount it dead center and if you feel there is too much shadowing add something similar

I'm not saying to switch your set-up. The A360WEs are beautiful lights. The AP700 vastly improves on it, so if you were buying new I would recommend you spend the extra money and get the AP700. There is a noticeable difference between the two lights. Nice tank BTW!

I'm actually thinking abut selling one 360 buy the 700 and use 2-360s for the ends of the tank.

BRS TV put out a great video on the latest LEDs. Topic goes into measurable PAR & PUR for each light, and the spread. Long video, but well worth it.

AP700 seems to be the only light in the roundup that I would actually consider great spread. Of course it makes sense as it uses reflectors instead of optics.

I have seen the new 700 and unless you want to add two or keep some 360's one 700 would not be enough, I am a AI guy and like their hydra 26 fixture for your 5' tank.

How far into tank does it extend. I have a 72"x30"

the item description Also something to be aware of... The tank mounted version only works on a rimless tank wont work on a standard rim tank

Lights can be adjusted as low as 5" and up to 20" over the top of the glass. Front to back dimensions are set by cutting the tubes to length, we can send them long or cut them to size. Please specify your tank dimension so we can send the appropriate tube length. We have various tube lengths in stock, custom sizes can be accommodated.

They don't have the mounts listed but I have seen them in person in the store
Thanks for posting this. I was sending PM's as I wasn't sure about the rules posting links here.
