Thanks, great to be here. Orbits are pro. AP is 9 inches from water surface
How high do you have the pros ramp up?

I had to look that up and realized I just have the old non-pro versions. They ramp up and down to 100, but obviously aren’t that powerful.

I struggled in the beginning with my ap700’s. I love them to death but a huge learning curve for me. I also have a 4x2x2 120g tank with 2 ap700 over dominant sps system. I started off at I think 8-9 inches off the water and at 30%. I ramped them up slowly over time about 1-2% every other day so about 5% weekly. I currently run them at 85% at 13” off the water. I liked the spread better up higher. I may turn them down even more as my pearlberry and foxflame are still pale. I think it’s set at 10 or 11 hrs total light schedule with 7 hour max setting. Nutrient load and these lights are closely related. I have had low nutrients recently due to the seachem matrix working too efficiently and I had stopped paying attention to nitrates. I had my lights set at 95% at the time until i noticed the two acros I mentioned above starting to pale out. If you want high intensity with these bad boys you need nutrients in the tank or feed it like crazy or you will get pale acropora. I love these lights just go slowly and make sure you have nitrates/ phosphates in the tank. I’m battling keeping them above 2-3 ppm and phosphate above 0.03-0.05. But my foxflame is doing better just waiting on the pearl berry to wake up again.
