Kessil H80 Refugium Light

I have a question about this light ,, had a Pax Bellum on my system to grow my Chaeto ,, for the time being I have given up on useing it :( I bought the Kessil H80 light to replace it for now. I mounted it to the top of my sump tank last night ,, I bought the bendable arm you can buy for this light ,, I have my Chaeto growing in a tray with holes in it ,, the light is 15 inches from the top of the Chaeto ,, I have the light set on the grow cycle and have it set at about 3/4 intensity ,, good or not good ?

You will know if the cheato grows. Consider the fuge light as a means of controlling the growth of the cheato also. More light more growth and thus more nutrient export.

It grows better if set between grow and bloom at 100% intensity. I’ve messed with it enough times to vouch for those settings being best for chaeto.

How’s the growth been for you? I’m using this light too and I’m not seeing tons of growth. Just curious.
