Got my mixing chamber and motor switched out. Does everyone else’s unit make a noticeable hum/vibration when the mixer is running? My last one made intermittent chatter. I’ve only run one test with this new one but it had a rattle/hum like a tiny little fridge compressor or something. Doesn’t bother me but just want to make sure it’s normal operating noise.

When the Teflon magnetic stirrer is running, inevitably will make some noise, this is normal, don't worry it.

Also why doesn’t it test every 60 mins? If u look at the ones someof them are 60 mins others are way off

Thanks
Justin

Also sometimes it does three or four test before it records anything

  1. During the test, if the environmental electric field interference is too large, then it will affect the judgment of the final curve.
  2. So KHG will conduct a second test, and depth comparison characteristic curve , for more accurate dKH values.
  3. This action is not an error, so it won't be recorded.
  4. And it is one of the outstanding features of KHG, in the process of testing and also self-learning. this algorithm that we have studied over the years.
  5. It can be closed by engineering commands, but please note that this is irreversible, after closing, you will permanently lose this feature.

I’m ok with it if it works it’s just weird that the display says 8.75 or something higher but the final recorded dkh is 8.5

And is my dkh really that spot on? Did u see my prior post

  1. I don't have any of your information, so I can only read it from the record that dKH is 8.55.
  2. Continuous data observation, it seems that your aquarium stability is really excellent .
  3. About the issues you posted in the past, can you give me a URL ? this makes it easier for me to find, Thank you.

If this is right I couldn’t be happier with how I set up my doser

DVC is there anything I did wrong to possibly get all my readings this tight together? Usually when things are to good to be true they are I am getting 7.9 dkh with my Hannah

  1. The meaning of "Check interval (Min): " is the time from the end of the last test to the start of the next test .
  2. Because the time required for each test is different, therefore the actual test interval will not be exactly 60 minutes (Will only be greater than).
  3. Retest if you encounter special conditions, then the interval will drag longer.

  1. My friend, can you take a screenshot of the system settings ? (press ENG Mode ON before)
  2. I need to know your firmware version, to help you make the best correction.

  1. Very good, it seems that your tank is stable and KHG is error-free.
  2. Please put the KH value you test from 3rd party test kit in REF.KH (dKH) box then click the “ Force reverse calibration” button, this time KHG will reboot itself.
  3. After "REF.KH", KHG will be enforced to accept new KH value. This function is more powerful than ADJ function, that is to say when user use this function the ADJ function will be back to “0” automobile.
  4. PLEASE MUST TO REMEMBER, when KHG last 3 tested KH values are out of range or any ERR message on LCD base on the safety reason KHG will not show this function on system setup page.

  1. KH>ERR, Please read page 15 of this instruction manual.
  2. *ERR*, This means that KHG has an error, so the pH value is not displayed to avoid user misunderstanding.
  3. CK=nan, This means that KHG has an error, so "Current KH" (CK="Current KH") value is not displayed, because it may have been unreliable.
  4. You can lift this alert by setting " > or < 1.5 Alert : " to "0" (ZERO), but I don't recommend it unless you are a veteran Reefe.

Got that thanks also for other people looking at this
If this happens you will have to hit the reset button for the machine to get out o ERR mode

I am really impressed with the support being given from the vendor here. This is the way it should be.

All KHG are my children, no matter the remotest corners of the globe, I will try to care for and take care of them.
