I just tested my water. My readings today for ammonia was 2.0 and salinity was 1.025

With a 2.0 ammonia reading you shouldn't have put any animal in the tank. Why are you still getting an ammonia reading at all? I would think your tank should have cycled by now?

He did have a zero reading we did the water change than added clean up crew. The reading had been zero than spiked today I am,buying a new test kit tomorrow to double check

Okay, two things: be prepared to do 25% water changes per day while ammonia is high; and, how high did you ever get on a nitatre test?
