Hey guys! A friend of mine gave me a Hydor Koralia Evolution 600gph wave pump for free.

My current wave pump is a cheap one I bought from Amazon 2 years ago. I just think that it doesn’t do the job anymore.

I was wondering if I could use it for my 25gallon cube reef? Or if it’s gonna be too much?

These were my preferred pumps back in the day! It will definitely be able to handle a 25g tank. I think twenty leagues is right though - might be too much flow for your tank. However, depending on positioning and what you have in the tank, you should be able to tell pretty quickly if it is too ,much.

Yeah that’s true! it’s seem great quality but yeah I’ll try it when I’ll be home. I think I lose nothing to try it a few minute

I ran those for a few years but every one I had starting leaking electricity. 50 volts from one when tested. I only tested because I fell off a chair when I got zapped. I used them for mixing salt but being the genius I am I was still getting shocked so I pitched them all.
