When I bought a lot of products from a tank tear down, he included several bottles of the kz color system. I also have an ecotech versa 4 pack and was wanting to use it for dosing the kz color system.

My volume is ~175 gallons, and kz recommends 5 ml per 25 gallons once a week. So that would be 35 ml a week for each # product.

My Question is, should I set the versa up to dose 35 ml in one go once a week, or can I dose 5ml per day? I didn’t know if dosing daily vs once a week would reduce or increase its efficacy.

@Fish Styx

I see on your mega build thread you are dosing this product. Can you please explain how youare dosing. Is it a weekly dose or a daily dose?

Yup, I run a KZ tank and dose daily. I base my daily dose off of my total system volume (TSV) of 250g / 7. All dosing is handled by three Kamoer dosing banks:

Thank you.thats what I was hoping to hear that it could be dosed daily vs once a week. I don’t know why you couldn’t, I was just trying to make sure it didn’t reduce its effectiveness somehow.

One further question, how is your daily schedule set up? Are you doing your 35 ml over 24 hours or a shorter period (minutes or hours)

Appreciate your feedback!

No problem at all!

I dose in succession beginning at midnight. My skimmer and UV shut down and my dosing banks begin to do their thing. They dump their daily doses over 15 minute increments with 15 minutes in between each doser.

Thanks again!
Of course, dude. A rising tide raises all boats! Feel free to pop over on my thread and hang with the #Heathens. They're a sordid bunch, but the collective knowledge in THOO is staggering. Plus we have a lot of fun. 😉

I read that as "solid bunch" and thought you were calling us fat.

Hahahaha ja, aber was ist wenn er eine koronare Herzkrankheit hat?

Sam said: the answer he was looking for was in his heart all along. To which I inquired, "yeah, but what if he has coronary artery disease"?

Are you sure you didn't read it as "scrumptious brunch"?

Then the answer is definitely found in the heart

This is just a mere taste of what you can expect over at THOO. Proceed with caution
