Picked up the light hangers today and installed them when I got finished with work. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

Now I have to make up my mind on whether or not to paint them or leave them unfinished. They are aluminum so should be fine unfinished. I think I like the look unfinished because there is a lot of black, but the black may blend better. Let me know what you guys think.

Ditto...painting them black would make them stand out against the blinds.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the encouragement. I think I have finalized the aquascape. Will try to get some pictures tomorrow. I have a little more than half the water made up and about half the plumbing done. Depending on how busy work is I should have water running by the weekend.

Got some plumbing done tonight after work. I need to pick up 4 ball valves after work tomorrow and put together the durso and return inside the overflow.

Thanks rev.

Finished up the plumbing after work today, added the sand and pumped in the water. Just have to install the skimmer and reactors, hopefully tomorrow. Still a little cloudy but it's clearing up pretty quickly

Everything has settled out in the tank and it's looking nice and clear. Still need to plumb in my skimmer and reactors. Hopefully tomorrow. I also plan to make a matching small cabinet for the side of the tank to house all of the electrical. Please don't mind the wires all over. I plan to run them much better once I have the cabinet installed. They are driving me crazy how they are.
