I bought my first house. No more rent for this guy...lol. Figured I had to try and be an adult at some point and this is a good first

Best of luck on the tank move! Super stressful. I've moved reefs 4 times, and I've always been a nervous wreck. When we bought our home in 2011 I managed to crack the sump on my CAD, that did not end well. You're definitely going to have better luck than I did!

I love the tank, your zoa garden is to die for. Sorry it took me so long to post on your thread, I couldn't figure out why no one had signatures or links to their builds. I'll go back and check the rest of the thread out tonight. I just realized today you have to view the forum on a computer in order to see peoples signatures. Doh. :facepalm:

Thank you for the kind words! The move is still in progress. If I don't fall right asleep when I'm done I'll try to post some pictures. Unfortunately I have a lot of new frags...lol

first good luck with the move. your tank is looking great. thanks for sharing all the photos.
Since you are doing a mix reef which include zoas, lps and sps.
After the move, I would suggest not putting any of the zoas on the magnetic frag rock and not on those tonga rock. Otherwise they will take over the rocks and will kill your sps. Dont put them on the same rock where you have sps.
Once you setup the tank again at the new house, post more photos.

So the move is over for today. Got everything up and running and all livestock transferred. I started at around 2:30 and just finished up. Here's a Group of pictures of today. Too tired to label them. Still need to clean everything up equipment and wiring wise.

The tank really cleared up a lot while I was at work today. Most corals are open and seem happy. The fish look pretty good too. Still need to mount some frags that broke during the move and also had to change up the scape a bit, as that fell apart too. Guess I didn't epoxy it as well as I thought. Still need to tweak it a bit, not sure if I like it yet. I changed the sand and went with caribsea sea floor special grade. I really like the look of it so far.
