Heh, I never cleaned the sock, I just replaced it.

I felt safer with the 1 micron filter sock though.

$15 a pair on Amazon, I changed them around 6 weeks

Correct, its just sitting in the sump, so the sock is in the water, but no water being dosed/poured in to it, only the LC solution.
