Some updates

We have boarding a ship with lot of elder people. In the present situation we are not allowed to make visits in the ports we dock in and comeback to the ship again. But it does not matter - it is a wonderful trip, saw northern light yesterday and the food is excellent. Do not talk about the views

And finally - an aquarium picture

In two days we will reach our final destination - Bergen. We hope that they not will shout down the train to Sweden. We plan to travel home 17/3 and I will update with how my tank manage without me for 14 days

Tonight - we will have waves of three meters

It is the red king crab (Paralithodes camtschaticus), also called Kamchatka crab. The Russian introduce this crab into the waters of the Kola Peninsula around 1960. It has now spread along the coust of Norway down to Lofoten. Yes - the photo is from one of the restaurants.

Yesterday we reach our Hurtigruten destination - Bergen. the plan was to stay in Bergen for two days but the situation make us forced to only stay for one night.

Bergen a town with more than 280 000 inhabitants was more or less empty. This is a picture of "Bryggen" one of the most famous part of Bergen - Sunday 15/3 2020

Leaving Bergen for Oslo - a train line passing the "Hardanger vidda" at more than 1000 m above the sea. If it was few people in Bergen - it surly was not any lack of snow at the "Hardanger vidda"

Before I leave for this trip - I install a D-link DCS - 5000L in my sump apartment. Below is two pictures (IRL) from my sump taken from the train between Drammen and Oslo. The skimmer work - the level is right and my friend have change my Top off container

At home - all seems to be okay. The only lost during this time seems to be my new butterfly - very unclear why it has disappeared.

When I leaved - I was a little bit worried that my hystrix had stop to grow - back home 12 days later - it shows up that it has only change its way of growing and for a more compact coral

The way those corals are growing you may need to upgrade to a calcium reactor

This play with words is impossible in the swedish language (the same in the German language) - I use to joke that this is the reason why we always have been among the best in class according to cleaning up the environment We can´t express dilution as an solution - therefore - we have to clean up our own mess

We just have to be careful how diluted we become

Yes - I´m sorry if someone get offended - but when everything looks totally dark - swedes use to have humor as a last resort. Not in order to downplay a threat - not at all - rather to emphasize the seriousness. If something not is threatening - we do not joke about it Italians sing and plays from their balconies in order to survive - we jokes us through the dark ages - we and the british people. It is not a coincidence that monty python's flying circus and Fawlty tower still are popular in both countries.

And - believe it or not - Corona has been my favourite beer to a meal since we could buy it here in Sweden.
