My goal is to make the fry survive in my aquaria. In my last aquaria - I had breeding pyjamas all the time for three years - but no fry. The difference this time is the chaeto refugium. we will see. It seems also that pyjamas cardinals take long time before they start to breed. There is two breeding males in the aquaria for the moment. In my last aquaria - I saw them breeding for at least 10 days - here I have seen them not for more than a couple of days. I have heard this low breeding time before but I´m not sure that this short time refer to not fertilized eggs. We see how long they will hold this time. It look that I have got few males this time too. I have 10 of them. was 11 but one died. It is difficult to take them up - but if I can - I will transfer them sooner or later if the breeding going on.

Sincerely Lasse

Just did a quick search, sounds like the newly hatched fry are pretty small compared to Banggai cardinal fry. I don't like to be that boring guy who says you can't get them to survive in your tank by themselves, but ... Then you might need to remove all other fish and add lots of live phyto and rotifers ;)

Here's the article I read:

This is really great. It reminds me of a tidal pool, super natural, a nice gentle sway, I'm a little jealous at how organic looking you were able to keep everything looking inside a box!

I think it the juice. I heard he uses some kind of 21 herbs and spices juice to feed his LPS, supposeably. A blending of macro algae. He wont spill the beans. But i thinks it the juice.;)

GSP but I will give non photosyntetic a chance too. I will be looking for Nephthyigorgia spp. for my first try, it is known as chili coral or Fire Soft Coral
