WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU CHANGED YOUR WATER OUT?

Do you like to do tank maintenance on holidays when you have a day off? (if you have holidays off)

I do water changes on my days off and on sunny days since I don't have an overhead light in my room. Biggest drawback in this apartment is no overhead lights.

It just comes out to be 15 gallons a week... :D
You had me going there! Thought there was a very scientific reason for the 18%!

We're 2 months in. System holds about 250 gal. I've changed partial water twice. First was 30gal and second 50gal. I saw no change in Nitrates or phosphates. I have it set up so changes are a matter of working valves and turning on the mixing pump. But I'm having a hard time right now justifying frequent water changes. Maybe when we get corals and start monitoring other parameters ?
