There is something oddly satisfying about having just cleaned the glass.

Replacing GFO media and then messing with the adjustments for the next few days afterward trying not to bottom out my phosphates.
I just leave them filled with RO/DI water after I test. When it is time to test again, I rinse them with saltwaterTesting. Cleaning and drying all of the vials is a pain
If you figure out a better solution to this let me know lol. This! Great one. GFO is a PIA to dial in so that it doesnt bottom phosphates out. So I am copying this sentiment. lol
Exactly!!!Cleaning the glass. You'd be amazed at the amount of hard-to-reach places you can find in a nano tank.
I use a big net and prop it as a tank divider. Or I catch him with the net and push it against the glass or rocks as a time out zone while I workPlanting new corals with one hand, using my pointer stick to have a cage match with my turd clownfish so I get them to bite that, instead of me...such butholes they are!!!
I've done that as well, and sometimes I'll have someone else fight the clownfish with the stick, while I'm making adjustments.I use a big net and prop it as a tank divider. Or I catch him with the net and push it against the glass or rocks as a time out zone while I work
So that was rubbish but whilst in the mode removed and cleaned both the skimmer, turf scrubber and filter roller, oh and fitted my 3d printed co2 scrubber recirculation skimmer lidI'm sure it's going to be cleaning out my weir section which I'm doing for the first time today
This is an easy one
Cleaning up after my wife!!
She likes to frag corals and is super into zoas, so when she frags stuff, there’s a mess. Plugs all over, pieces of rock, glue… you name it, she uses it and leaves it out.
But I deal with it because every so often she says , “I was thinking we need some new corals, let’s get some this weekend”
water changes are such a pain, more specifically the preparation to do a water change. Mixing, heating and preparing the new water is so annoying. All the pumps and heaters I have to take out and buckets it becomes such a chore. Once the water is ready its easy as can be. I gotta build a mixing station......
