Testing. Cleaning and drying all of the vials is a pain
I just leave them filled with RO/DI water after I test. When it is time to test again, I rinse them with saltwater :)

Fragging! Removing the coral fragging it, gluing the frags on a plung and the remounting the original coral on the rock. O have a few I do about every 6 months and more yearly.

Planting new corals with one hand, using my pointer stick to have a cage match with my turd clownfish so I get them to bite that, instead of me...such butholes they are!!!

Right now its removing sand from the corals on my sand bed. I hate whipping out the turkey baster, removing the lid, and ticking off the coral just to remove the sand... X amount of times a day.

I use a big net and prop it as a tank divider. Or I catch him with the net and push it against the glass or rocks as a time out zone while I work

I've done that as well, and sometimes I'll have someone else fight the clownfish with the stick, while I'm making adjustments.

To be honest, I dont think I find any joy in any task related to tank maintenance. Some are just easier than others. But I pretty much try to run my tank as low maintenance as possible. If I had to pick the absolute worst thing - it would probably be getting rid of nuisances: Algae, aiptasia, hitchikers etc.

I'm sure it's going to be cleaning out my weir section which I'm doing for the first time today

So that was rubbish but whilst in the mode removed and cleaned both the skimmer, turf scrubber and filter roller, oh and fitted my 3d printed co2 scrubber recirculation skimmer lid

This is an easy one

Cleaning up after my wife!!

She likes to frag corals and is super into zoas, so when she frags stuff, there’s a mess. Plugs all over, pieces of rock, glue… you name it, she uses it and leaves it out.

But I deal with it because every so often she says , “I was thinking we need some new corals, let’s get some this weekend”

Sounds like a great trade off! You'd NEVER hear that coming out of my wife's mouth!

water changes are such a pain, more specifically the preparation to do a water change. Mixing, heating and preparing the new water is so annoying. All the pumps and heaters I have to take out and buckets it becomes such a chore. Once the water is ready its easy as can be. I gotta build a mixing station......

And this pretty much says it all for me. I've always hated doing water changes.
