I’ve noticed these brown scab looking things growing on my toadstool and with a slight brush and blow it came right off of the leather and is discolored and toadstool looks the least happy, I’ve also noticed it’s polyps haven’t fully extended in a couple days... I don’t have a picture of the brown looking scabs that were on it, but I have a picture of what was under the scabs after blowing it away.... any ideas of what it is and treatment?

Update, still looks pretty bad, the scab has regrown and looks like it’s recessed into the leather, I did one iodine dip yesterday for 5 minutes

Imo it may be a bacterial lesion if so try ampicillin. If nothing else works that could be why not many dips are effective enough to kill off the pathogenic bacteria.

Any update
