I am about to purchase an Evo 200 Watt G3 LED fixture and wanted to know if this is sufficient lighting for a 54 gallon corner bow front aquarium? Mainly I want to do fish and inverts however it would be nice to have a few softies in there as well. Please let me know of any other suggestions as far as lighting goes as I do not want too much or too little. All help is greatly appreciated.

Ok so you are using 2 120Watt fixtures on an 80 gallon flat back bowfront. I have a 54 gallon corner bowfront wich is not as tall and very slender towards the back due to the corner shape. I would imagine one 200Watt G3 would do it if hung properly. At this point I am torn between 1 AI Sol unit or and Evolution 200Watt 3G unit. In your opinion which one do you think I will be more satisfied with? I have heard great things about both. All help is greatly appreciated.

From the looks of the AI Sol unit they are small enough to mount in a V pattern. I just don't feel these LED's have enough spread for a single fixture unless it's over a 40 gallon or maybe even smaller. If you want I can take a pic of one of my fixtures off and the other one on. It is very distinctive.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
