Hello everyone,

I have decided to upgrade to a 80 gallon Bow front tank from my 70 gallon acrylic.
For months I have been contemplating on how I could upgrade my 70 gallon tank to make it look better instead of being embarrassed on how it looked in it's current state. Time to upgrade!

here is what my 70 gallon looked like. Eww, gross!

And here is what I am now working with.

Cleaning done! Now ready for construction of the rock wall and structures. I am also going to integrate LED's instead of Metal Halides.

Sorry for the delay between posts. I have been busy with life and wow it can really catch up with you.

Here are pics after the rock wall and rock structures were built. These are all taken without tank lights because they are in transit as I am typing.

I have to give a big thanks to Bill Brown! Without him this tank would absolutely look like a pile of rocks!

More pics to come as the tank progresses!

Here is a video I took of it with a 10inch LED Moonlight installed. I am still anxiously waiting for those LED fixtures.

My LED's Finally made it!

I am soo stoked about this. NEW Stuff is always a good thing!

I decided to go with the 120watt 2:1 Blue/White. What I liked about this fixture is that the manufacture placed the white's in the middle like Metal Halides. Too Cool!

Next I opted for a 27 Blue LED/27 watt strip that has a 3 sided heat sink. Very nice. Here are some pics to get you going.

I finally got my sump light in. It's a 14 watt square with 10,000k and 6,700K LED's. Even at 14 watts It's still pretty bright.
