First, I'm wondering what variety I have. I don't think it is a Jack o Lantern. Second this is one of the corals that was on a cheap rack that I got to try. I notice it looks better in the shaded area. The part in direct light seems gray and washed out. It has grown good from the 3/4 inch frag I got. Would like advise on getting it to color up more.

It looks like a Fake Jack’O... For the Jack’O under blue light I see a deeper orange flesh with defined lines and deeper greenish hints around the mouth.

can you tell the difference?

I get the reference but the mouth area isn't ever that big.

Definitely a low light coral.

My orange lepto has always done better in lower par. If yours is looking washed out move it lower if possible
