With no two zoa’s being the same, let’s see some stratospheres! It started out with rings and has changed to that starry night look, and I love it. Here is my lone Strat. I’ve had it for 67 days now and it is finally showing signs of popping a few more heads. Looks like I will have 3 new heads soon. Blues and Whites. Taken on an iPhone with Orphel Coral lens kit

It’s so funny to me that nobody has mentioned when strats morph into this it looks identical to JF Acid Trips. My strats did the same think on about 1/2 of the polyps and I have other zoas that morphed into other common looking zoas like CB grand master strat looks exactly like Bloodsuckers once it gets high par all the black fades from the polyps face.

think it's just the individual polyp. All of my polyps are different from one another. Think it needs just some time to get big first before you get it to it's full colored glory

No one knows. Probably a temperament thing. Just like acans
Acans lose color and turn solid orange from too intense of lighting. More prone with rainbow acans. Most of the acans on the market prefer low par to keep those colors. Approx 50-75. They can be slowly acclimated higher.

Unless they are Asian acans, they don’t seem to mind light at all, but I suspect this is a slightly different species more similar button scoly (which is also related to acans) but not quite due to its ability to grow more heads
