I was told these are a carpenters flasher wrasse and solorensis wrasse. Can you confirm? Hard to get a pic of the solorenis, very quick mover.
I do see P. carpenteri with the coloration on that anal fin. It's P. flavianalis and C. cf. solorensis, not C. solorensis.
rubeus and flavianalis are correct.Hi guys, can you help ID this guy:
was told its a long fin fairy, not sure its a C rubeus or rubriventralis. Hes so aggressive, keep flaring with the yellow fin fairy. It also put a hole on the side of my new exquisite. The exquisite is out to QT to recover now.
The flasher below was sold to me as carpenter but it looks more like a yellow fin flasher:
Its flashing in the background next to blue tang. Can anyone confirm? Close up:
It is still used for such. Which post? Only this post on this page has a ruby head: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/let-me-id-your-wrasse.97755/page-246#post-7649775Is C. cf cyanopluera no longer used for the ruby head? Or is that not a ruby head?
