I am getting ready to start building my new SCA 150. I have decided after going back and forth with sump manufacturers, for the last year, I think I have finally made my mind up on which sump I will be going with! Have decided to order a Geo Reef SU46'' w/ out a refuge and a matching ATO storage container to match up with the sump colors and my protein skimmer. My cabinet is 60x24x24 so I have some room to play with so I figured that an SU46'' Geo Reef sump and matching ato reservoir would be a perfect fit. I will be placing my order at the end of the week w/ Geo Reef for there RED & WHITE Custom color combo sump, that I have below since I want everything to match since I am OCD like that! LOL, I will be making some slight modifications to the sump like I will not be adding any heater brackets and just one doing bracket instead of two of them and a few other minor changes. I will be running 2 @EcoTech Vectra return pumps. I will be running an Ecotech L-1 (3100GPH) for my 2- 1'' returns that will be reduced down to 3/4'' into a locline. For my Dual integrated Manifold that included on the sump, I will be running an EcoTech M1 for my GFO AND CARBON and I will have it tee off which will run my Aquatech UV Serializer.. ** My new Build thread will be coming soon **

Lots of great looking and large sumps. Here is a collection of mine through the years...

How about the smallest DIY sump? I made this to go underneath my 7 gallon nano tank in 2006. 20" x 12" x 7"

Then I replaced that with a DIY 40B project...

This one is under construction under my "new" 125. Elite-Aquatics (in various stages along the way).

And my very first reef sump under my 75. 30 gallon DIY refugium in back of the tank. Built back in 1998. :)

Here's a updated picture of my sump. It's up and running. Still got some tidbits to tidy up but everything is working. Roughly 260 gallons of water in the sump. If you remember back I posted pictures of me laying inside the sump.

Own design, custom made.
The sump is for a peninsula tank, so overflow and return needed to be on the same short end of the tank.
