Mine looks horrible next to all these beautiful reefs. This is my first tank. Started in January. Lots of green Corilline Algae, some pinks and purple on rock/shells. Wish there was more purple. Lol

Every single one of these tanks looked exactly the same in the beginning.
Keep that water on point and watch it mature.

Currently don’t run a skimmer on this system thinking I will add one in 2020. Also just added a sunpower to the tank looking at adding a bunch of acros in 2020.

No such thing as a horrible looking reeftank. I've done this for 16 years now and yours is awesome. The best part of it, and all that ever matters, is that you are enjoying yourself with it and stay interested. This hobby is the best. Happy reefing.

Literally just started as of June 13. And decided to keep more of a limited fish species and more of a coral and anemones if possible.
