I have the same problem....I just wish it would either open or die at this point...its been like 6 months.

I finally after 3 mos found the spot mine likes. High in the tank directly adjacent to the flow from my powerhead. Was finally able to get it off the ugly plug

Like other LPS, mine get huge when there is 5-10 ppm nitrate.

Here I thought my clowns were idiots as they prefer the Duncan to the bta, but it seems they love Duncans. I have no idea how many heads are on this one, we have had it for 3months+ and I am continuously finding baby heads popping up.

Completely heartbroken...something had been attacking it and it just kept dropping head after head till there was nothing but it’s skeleton.
