So this week I decided to place the focus on the 32g instead of the 55. Some of you may recall the rework thread and "Rip clean" I did on this tank at the end of October.
I am happy to report that the tank is looking fantastic now. A bit of an algae problem, but NOTHING like what it had before. The corals are doing great, the fish are happy and healthy and overall I am pleased with it now.
And here are a few closer shots of the corals in this tank...
This Richordia, was attached to a rock I did not replace in the tank. I left it in a small bucket with some tank water for about 4 days before I saw it was still alive. I cut 3 pieces off that rock and simply dropped them into the tank and let them land where God wanted. Not much to scale this picture against, but I can say it was about the size of a US nickel at the time and now it is at least 3 inches across...
There are 2 other pieces of this same species, (not frags of this one) that are in this tank.. one of them is kinda buried in the algae on one of the rocks, the other is happy and healthy in a showdy overhang.
