Yes, I am and it is awesome. I really like the fact that you can use any pump you want to and it can be upgraded if you get a bigger tank.

Thanks for the Reply I have a very old Euro Reef looking back I think it is at least 17 years old. How much do you have to adjust your skimmer. I really need something that I can pretty much set and forget and just clean it when needed, with out fine tuning all the time

I have an SVS2-24 awaiting my new build. I like the fact that it's essentially set and forget. There's only one gate valve output adjustment, that's it! I'm not limited by pumps. I can choose whatever pump I want, AC or DC, so my pump will never be obsolete. The fact that it's a 30+ year old design with a still growing and loyal user base speaks volumes. Also, Jeff the Lifereef owner is super quick at answering your questions even if you bought your skimmer used.

If you haven't already, check out D2mini's "Lifereef Skimmer Club" thread over on the other big forum.

Set and forget, though you might fiddle with it a little bit at first. I would make a small change and give it a day or two before making another adjustment, and it took maybe a week for me to be happy.

As long as the water bight doesn't change you won't have to touch it after the initial set up.

Love them, won't use anything else. I'm on my third with my current tank.
They are the least finicky, easiest to tune, lowest maintenance, most consistent skimmers available.
They are not the most compact and use higher powered pumps, but you can use any pump you want... nothing is proprietary.
Jeff's warranty and support is great too.

Everything that everyone above said. They do need some height and the taller the better and Jeff at Lifereef will customize the height to your needs.
