Lighting for 32 biocube

Looking to upgrade my biocube 32 lighting, want to do lps, softies and maybe an sps at the top, what light would you recommend... also want to upgrade lighting for my fluval 13.5 to do lps, need recommendation for that.....

will also need to know where i can get tops for my tanks because i have kitties and dont want my tank tops open. thanks in advance for the help everyone!

There’s lots of options for the Biocube. I have a Biocube 32 and just upgraded to a Radion g4 xr-15 but haven’t set it up yet so we’ll see how that goes. You could do a black box, AI Hydra, Radion xr-15, pretty much anything that puts out a decent amount of power if you want SPS. If you want to keep the lid on the tank you could consider Steve’s leds. As for tops I just made my own or you could have one custom made. If you used Steve’s leds it comes with a top.

Pull the lid and put a prime 16hd but then you will run the risk of a fish jumping. I’ve had my lid off for the longest time and never had one jump but it’s always a risk that it could happen

The stock biocube should be fine for soft corals and LPS. I have two SPS at the top of my tank, both doing well. One is a pink pocillopora and the other a bird of paradise birds nest.

I got a Steve's LED upgrade when I bought the tank used, no complaints here from it. Just took a bit of research to fine tune everything.
