Lighting for a carpet anenome

I just got a really nice neon green with red center carpet anemone I'm stoked about. My question is about how much light I should add for it to be happy. My current setup has low lighting (AI Vega at 25% white & 50-65% blues, red & green 30% or less) which is fine for zoas /LPS but I doubt is enough for an anemone So I'm thinking I need more light for the anemone and an easy way to do this is to get a PAR 30 or 38 bulb to spotlight the anemone Has anyone done this and is this recommended? My anemone is 20" from the water surface. I'm thinking a PAR 30 or 38, mostly white LEDs with 60 degree optics and gradually increase lighting duration until it's on about ~6-7 hrs/ day. Any advice or thoughts?

Don't know anyone who's done it but a par38 as supplemental makes sense to me assuming you don't wish to crank up your LEDs. I've got 160w 16k Maxspect Razor which I runs at 80%W 70%B if this gives you a gauge. My s.haddoni that's been quite happy for the 3-4 months I've had my LEDs. If he doesn't like the amount of light he'll move either towards or away from the light. I'm sure you'll hear several opinions here. Post a photo of your new carpet!

My carpet has remained in the corner he was placed for close to a year. Never has he moved. Today he's left his corner and started booking up the rock work. Seems he heard my post and realized moving towards the light was an option lol.

I got a couple pics- he's looking good so far, not on the sand but I figure i'll let him fully settle. I really like the red color around the mouth- not sure how common that is.

Yeah that mouth is unusual for sure! It almost looks a little human like... no lipstick? Lol very pretty carpet you got there!! Beautiful!!

I personally would just turn up your lights. I have the same lights as liquid, I am still acclamating mine so mine are a little lower (about 65% I believe) My carpet has moved up the rocks to get more light.

What species of "carpet" ? S. haddoni is sandbed dwelling, S. gigantea and S. mertensii tend to be rock dwelling.

haddoni (I believe) the foot is still in the sand but stretches up through the rocks to get to the light.
