I went from a 36" 192 watt power compact fixture to a 48" 216 watt aquaticlife t5 fixture. Should I acclimate my corals to this increase of lighting, I have mushrooms and zoas only. I had the power compact about 3 inches from the water level. The new fixture is 5 inches above the water level. If aclimation is requiered please advise on how to do so.

my lighting schedule is 12 blues with 9 hours all. 1.5 hours blues only at start and end of the period. any help would be nice. thanks

Think you will be ok without changing anything.

I would see how they react and then you can decide if you need to lower the lighting period and slowly bring it back up.

Yup, you are correct. The Wattage difference isn't much, its the output that is.
