Hello Guys,
I'm at work every day from 9 am to 6 pm, so the only time I have to enjoy my fresh water aquarium is after 6 pm! What should I do about the lighting? If I schedule the lighting for 8 hours in the morning, it will be off by the time I get home. Is it possible to schedule the lighting for after 6 pm? I want to make sure I don't harm my fish or plants.
As you see in the image aquarium is in a room with natural day lighting (not direct sunlight at all).

Any ideas?

Thank you very much

Good afternoon, I have the same work schedule where I set the lights to turn on at 10:30 AM and off at 10:30 PM so I can make the most of it.

What lights do you have? You should be able to program your lights to where they come on at 6:00pm vs early in the morning

Yes, you can. This appears to be a FW tank? As long as the lights are on for the proper amount of time, they can be on whenever you'd like. Even at night. It doesn't matter at all.
It's actually a UNS 60U (20G) tank.

That's great to hear, I was worry I may make the fish go crazy.

Thank you

FW = Fresh water.

Yeah, it won't make the fish go crazy; just try to keep the room dark when the lights aren't on.

Oh sorry for that, yes fresh water.

I can close that certain, then it would be really dark.
Then you're good. You're creating your own ecosytem. You can have the sun "turn on" whenever you like, as long as it's on for the appropriate amount of time.
