This is a great subject, and every light fixture will yield different results - especially LED fixtures.

That said, I am with elishapep, what are do you have, and what do you want? Also, what is the make/model of lighting?

Yes it is. it may be a bit long depending on intensity.
I like to put the longer blue at night cuz its cool when Im home..

I honestly am not familiar with that.

Going to try a piece of sps in there. I was told by the guy i bought the tank off that both lps and sps do well with the upgraded aquaray 600.

Yea that should be fine. Montis stylos etc. Its hard to say without a meter where your par is, so id still avoid high light animals unless you have high rock work to try it out, or get it cheap as a tester.
