I have 2 xr30 g6 lights and just decided it’s time to get corals. I always kept a white light just to see the fish. I’m going for lps and soft coral reef. The recommend spectrum is extremely blue (eye sore/all the fish look blue). All the videos I watch online look so much more natural color with a tint of blue. Does anyone of a picture of what there similar lights are at or have any advice. I’ll add a picture of my tank

I have 2 xr30 g6 pros and planning to add soft coral and lps in the tank. The recommend lighting the app has pre programmed is EXTREMELY blue. All the videos I watch look like a natural light with tint blue (the same corals I plan on having) is there anyone who has lighting I can copy or have advise ?thanks

Welcome to Reef2Reef! The greatest community out of water.

I also run 4 Radion G6 Pros. Here are two screen shots of my day time spectrum. It’s the AB+ modified with white channels turned up. Maybe dial yours to these settings and see if this pleases the eye. I have a par meter and I get really good readings for sps all around the tank. I am getting good growth and coraline algae with this spectrum.

P.s. a lot of the videos you’ll see online are white for two reasons, they are using an orange lense to cut out the blue and also turning the lights to a white setting for cameras. The schedule I run gets pretty blue the first hour and last hour of the day for viewing corals and make them pop with color.

I also had to do two screen shots since all the points would not fit in one shot.

Hope this helps a little and let me know what you think!
