I know it’s about par and I get 250-300 par 10 inches below surface. However I was more wondering about the length of the hours I have the lights at max intensity. Would I have to increase the time at max gradually or can I do it all at once?

If your corals like it dont change it imo.
I run T5's so different type but they are on off no ramp 4" off the surface. Total time 9hrs full intensity.
I dont feel ramp up and down is that important for the corals.
Less ramp up/down time, say 30 minutes,
and 8-9 hours at max would be better imo.
