What species of eel is it?
Is it eating now?

I don’t know what a “copper wash” is, was that translated from another language?

I guess they mean a copper dip, but copper simply doesn’t work as a dip.

Copper exposure can cause an eel to go off feed. If the eel is currently eating well (and it does look pretty good in the video), then copper use isn’t an issue.
