When I purchased my clean up crew one of the snails didn't survive. I don't know if it was stress, the acclimation or if it was injured when the LFS employee plucked it off the rocks in the store tank. anyway, my little urchin has decided to eat the dead snail and then wear the shell like a hat... Morbid but interesting none the less. Fast forward a couple weeks and the urchin still has his snail hat on along with a guest which I never noticed before. This little feather duster has been attached to the snail shell and just going for a ride around my tank thanks to this urchin.
