Long polyp leather decomposing

My magnifica decided to go for a walk and stung my long polyp leather.

the flesh is coming off and need to know if I should do a iodine dip and put in a hospital tank or leave as is. Any experienced help is appreciated!!

Definitely not shedding…the skin is already undergoing necrosis and falling off.

Frag good sections and try to save what you can

Cut off the dead
Tissue and dip in some iodine. If it can’t be removed from reef may have to amputate from the base rock and keep it in a rubble basket to re attach. Also run some carbon if I have to cut in tank. U know softies.

Well, my favorite coral is now fragged to just a few pieces …hopefully with time I can grow it back to its former self.
