I thought I would post my build thread today after finally finishing my tank almost 2 years on, and I know…..are they ever really complete haha
To start with, this was my first saltwater tank ever, and have loved the journey!
I have my evo 13.5 on a custom wood stand with blue colored plexiglass panels and a hinged hood that holds my lights.
For equipment I’ll go by back chamber, of course for the evo people out there..
Chamber one I have the media basket with the top shelf removed and a In tank marine uv sterilizer, filter floss and activated carbon
Chamber two is just bio pellets that I have slowly been removing so I can put more stuff in it!
Chamber three has the stock return pump, two heaters ph probe, ato sensors and dosing hoses
For additional flow in the tank I have a Nero 3 near the return and a mp10 on the opposite end
For lighting I have two reefbrite 15”xhos and 2 kessil 180we
Everything is controlled through my apex el, I dose through a dos all for reef currently 13.4 ml and acropower .4 ml everyday as well as hand dose 5 drops of Britewells aminos . I also feed phyto, oyster feast, reefroids, and ab+ twice a week.
For livestock I have two baby skunk clowns that will move into a larger tank, coming soon, as well as some hermits and snails.
I’ll throw in a couple photos below, as my first saltwater tank it’s been a bumpy first two years but finally feeling like I’m on the right track. Thanks for reading

Finally upgraded my ato reservoir! I have been using a plastic jug, found this graduated cylinder. Next step is finding a lid for it.
Not long ago I had my first ato flood, my fault 100% so I wanted to decrease the amount of water that could go into my tank, and as always class it up a step.
mission successful I think

Falling in love with the graduated beaker for my ATO, thinking about getting them for everything I dose! #neverdone
