I'm on the hunt for 1-2 SPS frags and would love your input. Here's what I'm looking for:

  • Color: Multicolored and mostly red, blue, or yellow (minimal green).
  • Care Level: Something that's a moderate challenge—I've done okay with Bill Murray and Mr. Neutron in my first year, but I'm not ready for expert-only picks yet.
  • Growth: A coral that grows at a decent rate, similar to Bill Murray.
  • Experience: Ideally, a coral that's been in the hobby for a couple of years so I can tap into some tried-and-true care tips (and it would also be easier for me to get the frags).

Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks! Just searched it up on google and they look great :)

Anything more on the blue side? like crystal-ish blue not super deep blue/purple

Can never go wrong with Walt Disney or the last samurai.

SCOP yellow polyp contrasting with different shades of blue skin.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations! These are all fantastic. Here are some pictures I found online, are they realistic?

What do you mean "realistic"?

The blue hue in the background of these pics tells me it's not the real colors in full spectrum.
Is that what you mean?

Walt Disney can be yellow to green with purple tips in full spectrum.

Red planet is pink to reddish with pink polyps in full spectrum and grows fast.

Oregon tort is a deep blue in full spectrum but dissappears in blue lights.

Thanks for the info! I just want to make sure the green color is minimal (specially for SCOP) I’ve seen different photos of it in blue background — some with a good amount of green

You need to see the colony rather than the frags. Most frags are green when cut and on a plug and get their final coloration when the colony is built out. Some have actual colors like Oregon Tort and Pink Lemonade, which is probably what you're looking for. SCOP will be green with orange polyps until it grows out. WD is green with sometimes yellow or green polyps with purple tips. PC rainbow will turn brown, yellow or red or green depending on their mood after the cut.

And I've been disappointed with the amount of one inch green homewreckers in my tank that have not colored up.
