So I have a 220 with mostly wrasses, a few smaller angels and 3 easy going tangs. I'm looking for a larger fish or two to be the centerpiece so to speak. I really want a blue face angel but I haven't done the research on them yet to see if they'll get along with everyone. I like rabbitfish as well but not sure I want it to be the larger fish in the tank.

Any thoughts/suggestions on a very peaceful, larger fish for my tank?

I have been thinking about a large blonde Naso as well since they are a different species than my other tangs. I really wanted a Lieutenant but I"m afraid he'll fight with my Orange Shoulder since they are similar in shape, color, and are of the same species.

Powder Blue's are nice too, but I've heard they are pretty aggressive.

Any other suggestions? Maybe a show size Achilles? haha

FWIW, I have my naso with a yellow, purple, and regal in my 180 with zero problems. She's been a model fish and uber friendly.

Thanks a bunch, that really does help. Blonde Naso tangs have always caught my eye but I never moved forward with getting one. Might have to talk to my LFS or keep an eye out on LADD :)

Oh yeah, I've had them before. They take a while to get to know you and swim freely when you are around.

A pair of Blue Jaw Triggers!!!

Bluejaw triggers are another "have to have" in this tank, but I"m not sure he'll be my centerpiece fish. I absolutely love those guys and will have one for sure. Great selection :)

Achielles Tang!!

Yeah, I'm debating it, haha. If I got one it would have to be conditioned by LADD which would put the price up pretty high.

what about a pair of crosshatch triggerfish? they're beautiful and from what I hear as long as it's a pair they're pretty well behaved. and reef safe in case you can't resist adding some reef...
