It won't pair from the app at all. I then tried to pair directly through bluetooth, but got the pin error.

Pairing directly will not work. Can you see the controller in the loop app and it just won't pair?

No, sadly I canNOT see the controller in the loop app. I DO see the loop on my phones bluetooth so I assumed the app would not work if not paired direct first?
So far:
I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app.
On / off bluetooth.
Checked for updates.
Checked app permissions.
Restarted the controller.
Restarted the phone.
Tried every default pairing pin I know.
Looked for a patch or hack online.
Emailed support in frustration but no reply yet.
....What do you suggest?

LG V30. Also tried with an LG G7. Haven't tried the Gpad yet.
I might have some other phones laying around, older galaxy S, but I'd have to check if they're 4.3 or above.
Is there a workaround?

Updates / Known Issues: Android App
  • Issue: App not connecting/reconnecting via Bluetooth in some Galaxy S10 devices or devices running Android 9. We recommend users update to Android 10, on older Android versions (9 & older) ensure dual audio setting is turned ON in Advanced Bluetooth settings.
Only thing I could find, but if changing the dual audio setting doesn't work you might have to wait on a reply from tech support or someone else to chime in.

Just tried it with a ZTE zmax pro, from the app- loop not visible, and from the phone- same error incorrect pin or passkey.
Sigh.

Can't, there's no option showing to change the audio settings until the phone pairs.
Also tried unpairing the others, no effect
