Loud nano skimmer

Anybody have an IM nano skimmer? Mine seems really loud. I can hear it all the way upstairs.

that aint right. time to soak it in vinegar.:)
double check you have the right pump too. Assuming its a maxi jet style one, they dont do well under a lot of backpressure. so if its too big itll just build pressure and complain, same if the jet is clogged.

What tank are you using it on and what size skimmer? I'm thinking of getting this for a 10 IM and need info.
