Luke's 180 gallon In-Wall Dream Tank!

Hello all! I added some new coral and fish yesterday! I was given a pair of blue throat trigger fish and I added them yesterday. Thank you @Huff747 for the amazing trigger pair. They are doing great in the new tank and have settled right in. It was a pleasure meeting you!

I also purchased some coral from Huff747, which look amazing! I will post some pics of those later. For now, enjoy some pics of the triggers!

Glad they're settling in. I'll miss them but I won't miss wiping off the outside of my tank everyday from their splashing. Today might have been the first day in a couple months I didn't have to wipe down the outside glass.

Hello all! It’s been a while since my last update. After a bit of trouble with my coral, I think I’m back on track. I lost most of my sps, but the remaining ones are regaining their color again. Also, I have two new additions coming next week from @SALGADO AQUATICS ! This is my first time ordering from them, so I’m excited to see how my order turns out! If anyone has purchased from them before I’d love to hear about your experience. I’ll reveal the fish next week when they arrive!

Good to hear. Once I finish getting the tank set up and get this round of fish I ordered through QT I’ll be looking to order more. I just ordered a purple tang, Red Sea sailfin, yellow belly blue hippo and Sohal tang to go along with my Achilles that I already have. I also have a male Crosshatch trigger already.

We like blue throats also. We had a male that just died one day. We had a bonded pair of cross hatches but the female didn’t make it through QT. Couldn’t get her to eat at all! I like the black tang you got!

Thanks! I got him in a trade! He’s a really nice fish. Sorry to hear about your triggers. That’s so odd she wouldn’t eat! Triggers are usually pigs. I’ve always liked the look of the cross hatches, but not their price tag. Lol!

Update! I’ve got three awesome fish in qt from Salgado Aquatics! An Atlantic blue tang, a leopard wrasse, and a flame fin tomini tang!

Finally got me a good RO/DI system! I’m super happy with it and I’m going to do a big water change tomorrow. Hopefully my sad corals will be happy again

Nice! Tomorrow I start chopping the wall up to get the tank in. I still have to hook up my new DI saver kit for RODI unit. On the 31st I have a few tangs coming in so I won’t be able to get my Achilles in the tank until the new ones get out of QT. I’m gonna put all the tangs in at the same time.
